About Us

Drought Resistant Nursery was established in 1985 in response to the water crisis as a means of providing landscaping material grown specifically for the Monterey Peninsula's varied climates. We have since expanded to several fields in Carmel Valley and a retail location in Monterey. We offer brokering services as well as ten acres of nursery stock for local landscapers and gardeners. 

In addition to plant stock which includes natives, shrubs, vines, trees, and annual color, we also offer soil, fertilizers, and gopher baskets.
